For ten years, almost everything I’ve built has lived behind someone else’s name. WhitelabelPRESS work ships under an agency’s brand, which is the whole point of a whitelabel operation — but it also means there was never really a place that pointed back at me.
This site is that place. It’s not a portfolio in the usual sense, and it’s not where I pitch WhitelabelPRESS. I write about the tools I actually use building websites, speed and security tips, static-site generation, WordPress-specific stuff — and, when it’s relevant, whatever’s going on in my personal life too.
Part of it is timing, too. I’m expanding past WordPress-only work into static sites and web apps, and I wanted somewhere to think out loud about that shift while it’s happening, not after I’ve already figured it out.
Mostly, though, I just got tired of doing interesting work with nothing to show for it under my own name.
